At Do For Self Community Development Corporation, we know that stable, affordable housing is a human right, and a powerful force for racial and economic justice. Since 1994, our housing work has focused on meeting the needs of Chicago’s Black and Brown families, at-risk youth, and formerly incarcerated individuals. We provide safe, dignified homes for rent and purchase, while equipping first-time buyers with the tools and education to become long-term homeowners. Our vision is simple: build stronger communities by investing directly in the people who live there.
